The only way to live…

Well, that’s a big number. 40 years. Wow! Give me a minute. That requires a beer. Instead of retiring and being totally bored, I’m a small business advisor. And now a blogger! My background is in tech, software design, and entrepreneurship (fantasy sports, gaming, marketing, trade association leadership, craft brewing, and hemp). Over the years, I’ve operated as a founder, CEO, CMO, CTO, COO, and CFO. The cool way to say that today is CXO. I’ve exited or helped others exit four times. And I enjoy sharing everything I’ve learned to help other entrepreneurs succeed. Let’s connect on LinkedIn.

Yes. This is my fun side gig. And I see it quickly turning into something more. If you need help with your blog, please fill out the Contact Form and let’s discuss the possibilities. Cheers!

It’s crazy how many tools are needed to do this well — my current choices are WordPress, Kadence, Canva, Lightroom, Youtube, Grammarly, ChatGPT, and many more. The learning curve was a lot more intense than I ever expected. And I learn something new every day.

Yes, two breweries. My friend, his wife, and I started the oldest cooperatively owned and operated brewery in the country, in 2012. We launched a website and signed up 800 members in the first month, raising $80,000 in start-up capital. The local group had already purchased a run-down bar in the area. My friend and his wife recruited a small group of neighbors to work with us on the Board, and then a small army of locals to assist with everything else. It’s still open today, Fifth Street Brewpub, in Dayton, Ohio. Later, I raised capital and opened FanDraught Sports Brewery in Parker, CO. It was a fun project, with many lessons learned. Fortunately, we sold the brewery and the real estate before COVID hit, saving our sanity and more.

Just reach out on our Contact Form. Cheers!
